ASK Chemicals' 'EXACTPORE' is an engineering filter manufactured using cutting-edge 3D printing technology (additive manufacturing) that sets it apart from conventional ceramic foam filters. It demonstrates excellent performance under harsh casting conditions, such as high-temperature casting exceeding 1700°C due to its high heat resistance, and the treatment of molten metal for large cast steel products on the scale of 10 tons per batch due to a dramatic increase in throughput capacity. These capabilities also enhance the freedom of design options.

■Three Features 1. "Approximately 3 times" the casting weight with the same area Compared to conventional filters, it can handle about three times the filtration weight even with the same area. This allows for an increase in processing capacity without expanding the filter size (area), significantly enhancing the design flexibility. It demonstrates high reliability, especially for large cast steel products at the several-ton level. 2. "High rectification effect" that suppresses turbulence An overwhelming rectification effect has been proven compared to conventional 3D filters. The uniformly designed cell structure effectively suppresses the disturbance (turbulence) of the molten metal. It significantly reduces the entrapment of air (oxygen), thereby lowering the risk of casting defects due to reoxidation. 3. Full support structure with no concern for "chipping" Unlike conventional products where preventing chipping is difficult during the manufacturing process, it is designed with a "full support structure" that protects even the sides of the filter. This nearly completely prevents damage to the filter itself and the contamination of chipped fragments, eliminating the root cause of inclusion defects.
