e.MMC BGA
In small form factor embedded systems, NAND flash has traditionally been implemented with direct access through host controllers and software. However, as the complexity of NAND devices and their management has increased, this operation has become challenging. The solution is "Managed NAND." This integrates flash memory, a NAND controller, and management firmware into a single small BGA component, making it easier to embed into systems. Swissbit's e.MMC EM-30 family supports a variety of capacities and interface speeds. With advanced NAND management features, e.MMC is ideal as a general boot media for applications such as POS/POI, PLC, IoT, gaming, and medical, as well as for embedded applications.
