Long-distance wireless transmission of analog contacts is possible using sub-gigahertz wireless.
The LA-2R3A-SG is an IO unit that can monitor and control 3 analog input points and 2 relay output points. By using a gateway device, it is easy to measure and record the analog values of voltage and current from a PC using the included software, and it is also possible to monitor and control the LA-2R3A-SG located remotely using dedicated commands from user applications. It can be operated without being aware of the constraints such as communication speed and transfer pause time under the SUB-GHz wireless standard, and in high-speed mode, control and monitoring signals can be transmitted up to 2 km in line of sight, while in long-distance mode, signals can be transmitted up to 7 km in line of sight.

Applications/Examples of results
■Long-distance extension and optimal for distributed placement By utilizing sub-giga wireless communication in the 920MHz band, long-distance communication exceeding 1km is achieved. This allows for long-distance connection extensions that were not possible with the conventional wireless LAN IO series. The palm-sized compact housing, specialized for small-scale control applications, is also ideal for remote control applications where the control targets are dispersed over a wide area and the number of required points per location is not high. ■PC-less input extension function using sub-giga wireless By connecting oppositely through sub-giga wireless, the signal state on the input unit side can be extended as the state of the output terminals of the connected output unit without using a computer. ■Development of unique control systems possible Input/output function libraries for C++ and C# languages, as well as sample programs with source code, are provided, allowing for the rapid development of unique control systems that can interface with other software running on a PC.
