[Disability Report] Reasons why LTE-compatible communication devices cannot communicate after the 3G shutdown.
3G Signal Interruption Measures, MI Corporation
Being '4G compatible means peace of mind' is something to be cautious about. This explains the conditions under which communication will stop after the 3G shutdown, as well as how to check and address existing IoT devices!
Do you think, 'It doesn't matter because it's a 4G/LTE compatible device, so the 3G shutdown is irrelevant'? In reality, depending on the configuration of the communication module and the communication services used, even LTE-compatible IoT devices may be affected in terms of data communication. This document illustrates the mechanism of communication stoppage, the conditions that may be affected, inspection items for existing devices, and considerations for remote updates and on-site responses. It is a technical report useful for those responsible for remote monitoring of factory equipment, water supply and drainage, renewable energy facilities, and more. First, check out the free PDF to see the key points for verifying your company's equipment.
