The Vacumet does not use a vacuum pump; instead, it supplies compressed air and reduces pressure using an ejector method. Small bubbles that appear when embedding with room temperature resin can become holes during polishing, leading to analysis failures. The Vacumet absorbs bubbles within the resin, preventing issues during polishing. For high-precision observation and samples where failure is not an option, we recommend using the Vacumet.
