The flapper solenoid moves the flapper towards the coil when the coil is energized. Normally, the flapper is positioned on the opposite side of the coil due to a spring. It is commonly used for releasing mechanisms such as cams. The armature comes in various shapes depending on the customer's application, so there is no standard shape.
