The sheath heater, which had corroded and broken after three months, has been in use for over 1.5 years after changing the sheath material and applying a coating to the sheath. By increasing the number of sheath tubes (using a double tube and not just overlapping them, but also reducing the diameter for better adhesion), it is still in use even after two years.
