A coreless DC motor is a type of motor that has no core (iron core) in the rotor (rotating part) and consists only of a coil wound in a cup shape. Inside the rotor, a cylindrical magnet is placed. 【Features】 - Since there is no core (iron core), there is no repeated action of attraction and repulsion from the magnet, resulting in no rotational unevenness (cogging) and smooth rotation. Therefore, vibrations and noise are also minimal. - The rotor is formed solely from the coil, making it very lightweight and having a small moment of inertia, which leads to excellent responsiveness and acceleration control. - There are various advantages such as low coil inductance, high efficiency with low current consumption, very low electrical noise, and the possibility of miniaturization.
