The surge absorbers from Shōshin Electric protect equipment from lightning surges through the built-in circuit disconnection device (thermal fuse). The element degradation indicator function allows for visual confirmation of the product replacement timing, making maintenance easy. It achieves reliable lightning surge resistance and the industry's smallest size. It safely protects equipment from induced lightning entering through phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground. Visual confirmation of element degradation is unnecessary, and remote monitoring makes it easy to determine the replacement timing. It supports both AC and DC, allowing a wide range of voltage/current selections for the contact circuit. The KOA surge absorber is a surge absorption element of the discharge tube type with a micro-gap. It is very compact and does not take up much space in the circuit. It has no polarity and responds quickly to surges. It is stable against repeated surges. With low capacitance, it can also be used in high-frequency circuits. It is used for discharge countermeasures in CRT displays and for electrostatic countermeasures in antenna lines. 【Product Lineup】 Varistor Surge Absorber
