The structure features a honeycomb pattern with a 45° angle etched into stainless steel or corrosion-resistant aluminum plates, with the direction of the pattern rotated by 90° for each of the ten plates, forming one set. In other words, the second plate is at 90° to the first, the third at 180°, and the fourth at 270°, creating a combination of directional patterns. When airflow containing dust particles is introduced at a speed of around 1 m/sec through this three-dimensional mesh, the airflow becomes turbulent, causing mist and dust to collide with obstacles and separate from the airflow. The size of each mesh opening is large enough to collect most fine particles without being affected by the size of the openings. Therefore, the pressure loss is extremely low, and due to the material and structure, it has sufficient strength, allowing for easy collection of captured particles and cleaning of the filter through vibration or washing, without the risk of burning like a bag filter in direct flame. Additionally, it is possible to pass dust-laden hot air through a screen that is glowing red, making it effective for re-ignition and deodorization purposes.
