High temperature, low temperature, and high pressure compatible flow meter - Screw meter OMG
KRAL OMG
The OMG high and low temperature flow meter is a high-precision volumetric high-pressure flow meter. It has high measurement accuracy and can also be used as a standard device for flow calibrators.
The KRAL OMG series features a screw-type (helical gear) structure that allows fluid to flow linearly, resulting in significantly lower pressure loss compared to conventional gear meters (circular gear type), and enables high-precision measurement of ±0.1% R.S. The flow meter is calibrated at 5 mm²/s, allowing for high-precision measurement even at high temperatures (low viscosity) compared to circular gear meters. Therefore, it is hardly affected by temperature changes (changes in liquid viscosity). It can be used for a wide range of fluids, including fuels such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and heating oil, as well as hydraulic oils, lubricating oils, ATF, polyurethane raw materials like polyols and isocyanates, inks, adhesives, sealants, PVC, greases, and most liquids other than water. High-precision measurement of ±0.1% R.S. is possible due to the precisely machined spindle. Direction detection (forward/reverse) is also available as an option. ◎ Specifications ◎ Operating pressure: MAX 25 MPa Applicable viscosity: 1 to 1,000,000 mPas Measurement accuracy: ± 0.1% R.S. Temperature range: -40 to +200°C (Varies depending on the type of pickup sensor)

basic information
The flow of liquid entering the flow meter causes the two internal spindles to rotate, transporting the fluid in a spiral manner. The pole wheel (detection gear) attached to the spindle shaft rotates in conjunction with it. This rotation is detected by a pickup sensor and output as a rectangular wave pulse. This flow meter is also compatible with high-pressure specifications. The pickup sensor will be selected based on the conditions such as operating temperature. It can also accommodate low and high-temperature specifications. ◎ Pickup Sensors ◎ BEG 43D: -20 to +100℃ (standard) BEG 44: -40 to +150℃ BEG 45: -40 to +200℃ (for high temperature) BEG 47C: -25 to +100℃ (EEx ia) BEG 53A: -40 to +120℃ (2-phase pulse output) ◎ Main Applicable Fluids ◎ Polyurethane raw materials Sealants, PVC, adhesives Light oil / diesel oil Kerosene / paraffin Gasoline / dry solvent Hydraulic oil, lubricating oil ATF, CVTF Engine oil Silicone oil / heat transfer oil Other liquids excluding water
