The Digital Area Counter is a counting system that utilizes a CCD line sensor (patented). With a 2048-bit element, it can count over 10,000 times per second, making it possible to count flower seeds as small as 0.1mm, which is impossible with standard optical sensors. Additionally, it has a function to cancel out smaller objects than the product, making it suitable for counting products that produce fragments, such as cuttings and small runners.
