Body Potential Meter / Model Number MB16SD-4000K
Electronic devices and metal tools held by humans have individual capacitance to ground and are charged at the potential of the human body. When the charged electronic device touches the ground or the metal tool touches the electronic device, a transient current with a high peak current flows rapidly, causing a malfunction. By using a human body potential meter, it is possible to accurately measure the potential of the human body and instantly determine whether the electronic device will be damaged at that potential. Additionally, it is possible to know to what extent measures against static electricity, such as conductive flooring, anti-static mats, anti-static shoes, and wrist straps, can reduce the human body potential.

Applications/Examples of results
■Specifications ● The electric potential of the human body can be easily measured by holding the probe in hand. ● Achieves high resolution of ±0.1V. ● Can measure over a wide range. ● Allows switching between peak hold measurement and continuous measurement. ● By using a data logger, it is possible to continuously record changes in the human body's electric potential during various actions of the operator. ● Makes it easy to evaluate and educate on electrostatic countermeasures for operators. ● Built-in detection sensor failure diagnosis circuit that displays errors when a failure occurs. (Patent) ● Equipped with a sleep mode function to prevent battery drain due to forgetting to turn off the power.
