The 【F5404E】 is a high-capacity RAID system that can accommodate up to 48 drives in a 4U rack mount chassis. It is a high-density, large-capacity storage subsystem that can secure approximately 50TB of disk space (using 2TB HDDs) in a single chassis. The host interface features four port-independent 4Gb fiber channels (two ports for each of the two controllers), ensuring a maximum transfer bandwidth of 16Gb. With three redundant power units, airflow control, resonance control through vertical drive mounts with interface connectors at the bottom, and a drawer structure for rack mounting, it achieves high reliability and accessibility. Additionally, by adding one expanded 4U chassis, it can house up to 96 drives in an 8U space, allowing for approximately 50% reduction in rack space compared to conventional systems. It is flexible and scalable to accommodate rapid data growth. The storage management software, StorView, is included as standard and supports multiple path load balancing as well as path failover/failback functions. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and 50.
