The hose clamp developed by our company is named Crescent Clamp (R). "Crescent" means crescent moon, and it is a coined term devised because the plate thickness changes continuously across the circumference. This special shape maintains better roundness when expanded, providing the advantage of evenly distributed stress (tension) across the circumference. This feature directly impacts leak prevention performance. Additionally, since it does not use slits that change the plate width to achieve the same purpose, it demonstrates a stronger clamping force in comparisons with the same width and thickness. Furthermore, because it employs a leaf spring mechanism, it offers advantages in terms of installation workability, cost, and maintenance, as it does not require re-tightening.
