Adoption of the twin spectrum method.
This product enables continuous monitoring of COD values through UV (ultraviolet absorbance) measurement. Its high water pressure resistance and compact design allow for direct measurements at great depths, achieving high-precision vertical distribution observations. It adopts a twin-spectral method to simultaneously detect ultraviolet and visible light absorbance, correcting for the effects of suspended substances as much as possible. Measurement errors are fully compensated by constantly monitoring changes in light intensity, ensuring accurate measurements at all times.

Company information
For over 50 years, we have been involved in the development and manufacturing of hydrological, water quality, and oceanographic observation instruments that are committed to field specifications in order to understand water as it is. The DENTAN Group has served as a bridge between people and nature, watching over outdoor water environments. During this time, people have transformed water, which was once abundant and used metaphorically in Japan as if it were flowing freely, into a limited resource. They have realized that this has placed excessive burdens not only on themselves but on all living beings, that is, the natural environment. Now, there is a significant shift in awareness regarding the importance of water resources. To create an environment where people can appreciate nature, the DENTAN Group will continue to do our utmost, albeit with limited power.
