This is a new HPLC filter with a guard column function. Unlike conventional guard columns filled with packing material, this product uses a solid-type porous glass filter. <Features> ■ This filter is made from porous glass with a uniform pore diameter, ensuring reliable capture of adsorbates and fine particles, preventing an increase in column pressure. ■ As a monolith-type filter, it has extremely low pressure loss and is not affected by changes in the packing state seen in conventional guard columns filled with packing materials. ■ The PG-ODS has undergone ODS surface treatment and end-capping, making it suitable for use as a guard column for various types of columns, including ODS columns. ■ It has minimal impact on the separation state. ■ All solvents used in HPLC can be utilized.
