The MS type reed switch incorporates a latching reed switch. In the OFF state, it activates and turns ON when the N pole of the magnet approaches the reed switch. It maintains the ON state even after the N pole passes by and the magnetic field disappears, and when the N pole returns to the switch, the latching is released and it turns OFF. The switch operation varies according to the requirements of the process. The MS type reed switch for MG (magnet float) level gauges is designed to allow for very easy implementation of switch operation changes on-site.

The MS type reed switch is a self-holding type reed switch specifically designed for the MG (magnet float) type liquid level gauge. This MS type reed switch can be installed at a position corresponding to the alarm setting point of the MG type liquid level gauge column (chamber) body, allowing ON-OFF control through the magnet inside the float that moves with changes in the liquid level within the column. Additionally, there are two types of this MS type reed switch available for general use: the MS-10 type and the pressure-resistant explosion-proof structure (d2G4) EXMS-90 type. Since it is an external type liquid level gauge, it can be easily added.
