Applications/Examples of results
■For cleaning with alternative to freon In recent years, vapor cleaning using chlorine-based organic solvents such as freon and trichloroethane, which are considered the main culprits of ozone layer depletion, has become impossible. As a result, cleaning parts with hydrocarbon-based and water-based detergents has become mainstream, and multi-stage roots vacuum pumps are used for vacuum drying after cleaning. ■For vacuum distillation Vacuum distillation allows for the efficient and low-temperature separation of mixed substances into their constituent components. It is used in various applications, including food, pharmaceuticals, and vitamin manufacturing equipment. ■For vacuum packing For food products, packaging for fresh foods such as vegetables and meat is popular with dry pumps that do not use oil, due to the handling of food. Additionally, packaging for precision parts and oxidation prevention components is required to use air-cooled systems that do not use cooling water.
