However, there were concerns that "mixing inexpensive recycled rubber to reduce costs did not work well," resulting in "twice the usual molding time" and "an increase in defects." Upon investigation, it was found that "the curing time for the rubber was taking more than twice as long" and "gas release was becoming worse." The properties of recycled rubber can vary significantly depending on the quality of the rubber before recycling, and this tendency is more pronounced in lower-grade, inexpensive products, making it difficult to maintain consistent quality.
