Contec has developed an embedded PC equipped with the 13th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processor, achieving high performance while being fanless and slim. Orders for the "Box Computer(R) BX-T5000 Series" (hereinafter referred to as the new product) will begin on April 22, 2025. The new product features a high-performance 13th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processor (Raptor Lake -U) and is a compact embedded computer with a thickness of approximately 30mm, about the size of an A5 sheet of paper (182(W) x 155(D) x 30.3(H)mm). It operates with complete natural air cooling (fanless) and can be used in a wide temperature range (-20 to 55℃※1). While maintaining compatibility in dimensions with the well-received Box Computer(R) BX-T3000 Series, CPU performance has improved by approximately 2.9 times※2. ※1 Airflow 0.7m/s ※2 Comparison based on measurement results from CrystalMark Retro 1.0.2 between the conventional model BX-T3000 Core i3-8145UE and BX-T5000 Core i3-1315URE.

The PCI Express 5.0 (x16) x1 slot is directly connected to the CPU, allowing for the use of the latest dual-slot GPU boards at maximum performance. It can also be switched to PCI Express 5.0 (x8) x2 slots via jumper settings, enabling the operation of two GPU boards with eight lanes of performance.
