What is a flash diaphragm? What are its advantages?
When selecting a pressure sensor, there is a type with a flush diaphragm structure. What are its advantages? Main features: 1. Suitable for measuring the pressure of viscous liquids such as ink. 2. Appropriate for applications where regular cleaning is desired. 3. Can be used in food processes if it has a clamp type. A typical pressure sensor has a screw at the tip, with a diaphragm (partition) that receives pressure located behind it. If the medium being measured is air, there is usually no problem with the standard structure. However, there are inquiries such as "I want to measure the pressure of ink" or "I need a structure suitable for cleaning since I regularly clean the pressure-receiving part," and in such cases, the standard structure does not allow for visibility of the interior, making it impossible to confirm whether it has been cleaned properly. In such cases, the pressure sensor with a flush diaphragm, where the pressure-receiving surface is exposed, proves effective. Our new I-V curve tracer can measure "high-efficiency solar cells" such as N-type, half-cut cells, and N-type back contact.
In recent years, there have been reports of cases where high-efficiency solar cells (such as N-type and half-cut cells) cannot measure I-V curves using competitor products or the old Epsilon 1000 (PVA14300). However, measurement is possible with the current Epsilon 1000 (PVA14300R) and Epsilon 1500 (PVA18340). Both the current and old models of Epsilon have a built-in overcurrent detection circuit, which prevents equipment failure by cutting off the current and stopping I-V curve measurement if the measurable current exceeds 30 [A] (when overcurrent is detected). High-efficiency solar cells tend to have a large inrush current flowing into the Epsilon, leading to a higher frequency of measurement stoppages due to overcurrent detection with the old Epsilon. Even if the catalog value of the solar cell is around 15 [A], the actual output current can momentarily exceed 30 [A] significantly. The current Epsilon is equipped with an inrush current prevention circuit that performs gradual short-circuit processing. This suppresses the occurrence of overcurrent during short circuits, making measurement possible even when the capacitive component of the PV is large. Measurement is also possible with the Gamma series and Delta.
