Kawakami Sangyo Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting at the "2nd Kansai Logistics Exhibition" held at Intex Osaka from June 16 (Wednesday) to June 18 (Friday), 2021. Although the state of emergency declared in Osaka Prefecture has been extended until June 20, there has been no request from the government to cancel the event, so the exhibition will proceed as planned with COVID-19 countermeasures in place. This exhibition is the largest comprehensive exhibition for the logistics industry in Western Japan, gathering technologies, products, and services that contribute to "productivity improvement," "working environment enhancement," and "measures against labor shortages." [Improvement Case of Loading Efficiency in Logistics] Adoption of large container boxes improved loading efficiency by 1.5 times (60% → 90%)
At a 3PL company that primarily handles food products, various products were stacked on pallets for each store. As a result, they were unable to stack the pallets, leading to a loading efficiency of about 60% for the trucks. By adopting the large container box "Dekabo Kapatch," products that could not previously be stacked are now stackable, improving the loading efficiency from the original 60% to 90%. This is an example of contributing to the "improvement of loading efficiency" due to the logistics issue of 2024.
