[News Publication] Mold News, May 10, 2023 issue "Press Analysis in a Short Time" Interview with Minami Kogyo Co., Ltd.
Issued by Kinzai Shimbun on May 10, 2023 An interview article featuring Minami Kogyo Co., Ltd., which uses AutoForm simulation software for "press analysis in a short time," has been published. Minami Kogyo Co., Ltd., located in Hiroshima City, specializes in the design and production of press molds for automotive frames and suspension components. By implementing AutoForm simulation software, they have achieved high-precision predictions of plastic deformation in a short period, enhanced design quality, reduced modification time after trials, and improved mold production efficiency. Please take a look.

Today's ANSYS: Optimizing Pump Energy Consumption through Fluid Simulation (CP Pumpen)
I would like to introduce information about how CAE and CFD are beneficial to society, including interesting application examples, primarily through articles in the information magazine "ADVANTAGE." By using ANSYS CFX, you can obtain information about discharge heads, power consumption, and efficiency, as well as check the flow field within pumps. Today, I will introduce the efforts of CP Pumpen, a leading supplier of high-quality centrifugal pumps, in utilizing simulation for product improvement. To secure a competitive advantage in an increasingly competitive market, they implemented CAE to improve their products. ↓ To improve the traditional prototype-based methods, they introduced ANSYS CFX and ANSYS BladeModeler. ↓ Through repeated pre-validation, they were able to improve hydraulic characteristics and highlight issues with conventional designs. ↓ This led to significant effects, such as a threefold increase in development efficiency (↑) and up to a 50% improvement in pump efficiency (↑), successfully recovering the initial investment within a year. *For more details, please refer to the link below or feel free to contact us.
