Success stories of Trelleborg blow molding machines
Guangzhou Tech-Long, the largest manufacturer of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottle blow molding machines in China, needed seals for dispensers used in molding machines. The dispenser is the heart of the molding machine, located in the center, and its failure can lead to production downtime and significant losses. The optimal performance was achieved with a specially developed composite material based on PTFE. Several seals were adopted, including a specially designed Tarcon® Rotoglide Ring® equipped with a unique pressure relief mechanism.
It is a dual pressure seal for reciprocating motion using O-rings.

Trelleborg Glide Ring D: Excellent sealing performance under pressure! You can watch it in the video!
The revolutionary seal design using new seal materials achieves longer lifespan and improved reliability for hydraulic equipment. The Zacon® Glide Ring D is manufactured from a specially developed polyurethane material, Zacon® Z13, which can withstand a maximum pressure of 50 MPa on both sides of the seal and a temperature range of up to 120°C. As a result, the seal has a long lifespan even under harsh conditions. Additionally, it possesses excellent mechanical and elastic properties, allowing the seal to maintain its restoring force and be used without requiring precise machining on the inner surface of the cylinder tube. The main applications of the Zacon® Z13 Glide Ring D are hydraulic equipment for vehicles such as construction machinery, civil engineering machinery, crane trucks, and forklifts. The Glide Ring D offers excellent restoring force and dynamic characteristics, and can be used with mineral oils, biodegradable hydraulic fluids, and fire-resistant aqueous hydraulic fluids. It has a hardness of 60 degrees Shore D and is characterized by excellent wear resistance, extrusion resistance, and hydrolysis resistance.

Trelleborg Tacon (R) step seal (R) release of accumulated pressure between seals V
One of the problems that occurs when two seals are assembled in parallel on the rod of a hydraulic cylinder is the pressure accumulation between the seals. To address this issue, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has developed the Targón® Step Seal® V. By combining innovative technology with our proprietary patented technology, we can avoid pressure accumulation between seals even in challenging seal system arrangements.
