On September 17, 2024 (Tuesday) at 5:01 PM, a news report about the demonstration experiment of land-based shrimp farming in Naka Town was broadcasted by NHK Tokushima Broadcasting Station. This experiment started last month, and on this day, seven officials from the prefecture inspected the facility set up at Hiratani Elementary School and received explanations about shrimp farming from the representatives of the contracted company. The program introduced the use of our IoT monitoring system to measure temperature and oxygen levels, allowing for remote monitoring of water conditions.
