Orders for the 10 Gigabit Layer 3 stackable switch "DXS-3610 Series," which supports 100 Gig uplink, will begin on August 27.
D-Link Japan Corporation will start accepting orders for two products with four model numbers of the 10 Gigabit L3 stackable switch 'DXS-3610 Series' from partner companies on August 27, 2021, and will begin shipping sequentially from September onwards. All 48 standard ports support 10 Gigabit, and there are four slots equipped with QSFP28 that can support 40 Gigabit or 100 Gigabit as uplinks. The 'DXS-3610-54T' features 48 ports of 10G BASE-T and 4 slots of QSFP28, while the 'DXS-3610-54S' includes 48 slots of 10G SFP+ and 4 slots of QSFP28. Both models allow for the selection of software images based on required features. An Enhanced Image (EI version) for large-scale networks with features such as BGP, MPLS, and VRF-Lite is available, or if those features are not needed, a Standard Image (SI version) is also provided. Compared to the 'DXS-3600 Series', the port density has approximately doubled, and the uplink bandwidth and overall switch bandwidth have been expanded by more than double, significantly improving processing capacity and software functionality. It is suitable for core switches in medium-sized enterprises and relay switches in large enterprises.
