Notice of Cool Biz
Thank you very much for your continued support. We would like to inform you that this year, we have decided to implement a cool biz dress code for our employees during the following period, allowing for no ties and no jackets. Additionally, we plan to set the office temperature to 28°C as part of our efforts to combat global warming in the corporate sector. We kindly ask that you visit our company in light clothing. 【Implementation Period】 June 1, 2019 – September 30, 2019 Thank you.

Started selling UP valves (YUPI valves) with excellent chemical resistance and cost performance.
The UP valve is made of resin with PP as the main raw material, featuring high pressure resistance, chemical resistance, and excellent cost performance. The base material, PP, is relatively inexpensive and lightweight among plastics, with a good balance of rigidity and impact resistance, as well as excellent pressure and chemical resistance. By combining this PP with ethylene propylene used in the packing area, we achieved outstanding pressure resistance performance of 0.78 MPa for a PP valve. This product is ideal for replacing metal and fluorine-based valves used under the above pressure conditions, and it contributes to the stable operation of equipment, devices, and systems, especially in lines using Ushio Lighting's plastic fittings (Z Union) and piping (UP Tube).

Notice of color change for blue polyurethane tubes manufactured by Runko Co., Ltd.
The blue color tone of the urethane tubes manufactured by Junkosha will be changed. Affected products: UF series (water-resistant soft polyurethane tubes and polyurethane tubes for barb fittings) and UFL series (low-friction polyurethane tubes), totaling three items. Manufacturer's shipping changeover period: From early March 2014 onwards. Note: Due to the circumstances of the trading company's inventory, the changeover period may vary. Thank you for your understanding. Additionally, we will be careful to avoid mixed shipments of old and new products when orders are received. Reason for the change: In the risk assessment review meeting regarding the prevention of health hazards to workers caused by chemical substances for the fiscal year 2012, "cobalt and its inorganic compounds" were evaluated as having carcinogenic risks. Following this evaluation result, revisions to the Labor Safety and Health Act enforcement order, Labor Safety and Health Regulations, and Specific Chemical Substance Hazard Prevention Regulations were made effective January 1, 2013, classifying "cobalt and inorganic compounds" as Category 2 substances and specially controlled substances for specific chemical substances management. In response to the change in risk assessment regarding "cobalt and inorganic compounds," Junkosha will promote the discontinuation of the use of "cobalt-based pigments." For more details, please refer to the related materials (Junkosha information document) below.
