Improved workability! We will angle the decorative materials for the openings of sliding door products.
In the Sanwaise slide door series, the decorative material on the back side of the opening frame used to be flat bar, but particularly with 50mm panels, the decorative material would protrude, resulting in poor appearance and construction difficulties. Therefore, we decided to use an unequal angle and make the flange part of the opening frame the same length and surface treatment as the opening frame, which allows for easier installation and a better appearance for both 40mm and 50mm panels. Change the product name from "Detachable Panel" to "Removable Machine Hatch."
The removable wall panel, which has been referred to as a "removable panel," will now be named "removable machine hatch." In architectural terms, a machine hatch generally refers to the entry points for equipment and machinery. Some may associate it with lid-type inspection openings installed in floors or doors and steel shutters used for transporting equipment and machinery on upper floors. However, Sanwise's "removable machine hatch" is designed to be used as a wall under normal circumstances, and when equipment or machinery needs to be transported in or out, it can be removed to create an opening for that purpose. Once the work is completed, it can be used as a wall again, truly embodying the concept of a "removable" "machine hatch." There will be no changes to the specifications or appearance compared to the previous removable panel. The name change will take effect from March 1, 2012.

Traditionally, the screws for fixing the outer frame of hinged doors have been flat-head tapping screws. However, as it has become mainstream to use aluminum cap channels for the substrate of panel openings, we have received feedback that tapping screws, which require a pilot hole, are inconvenient. Therefore, we have decided to change the standard accessory screws for fixing the outer frame of the products listed below to flat-head drill screws. The traditional flat-head tapping screws will still be available. If you prefer those, please inform our sales representative at the time of your order. What is a Brest Pair? It is a "breathing" double-glazed glass that connects the hollow layer (the layer of dry air between the glass panes) with the outside air, adjusting the air pressure inside the hollow layer and the outside air. The "Brest Pair" adjusts the air pressure inside the hollow layer and the outside air by attaching "Swiss Spacer Air" to the resin spacer of the double-glazed glass, preventing potential glass breakage caused by the expansion of the hollow layer and reducing distortion of reflected images. Additionally, the hollow layer repeatedly expands and contracts due to temperature changes around the double-glazed glass (day-night temperature differences and indoor-outdoor temperature differences), which may lead to the deterioration of the sealing material. The "Brest Pair" suppresses expansion and contraction due to temperature changes, maintaining the functionality and quality of the double-glazed glass over the long term. The "SSST-N40" features an all-steel visible portion, while the door surface material is made of thin steel plates ranging from 0.4mm to 0.8mm. The interior of the door utilizes an aluminum frame along with honeycomb material and styrene foam to achieve weight reduction, enabling easier opening and closing compared to standard steel doors. The sliding mechanism is available in three types: manual, self-closing, and automatic, with the guide block stored inside and a rubber seal enhancing airtightness at the opening. We also offer a variety of options, including various FIX windows, grilles, and sanitary covers (sloped covers).
