I filmed how microbubbles are generated.

Generation of microbubbles in anhydrous ethanol.
A video was recorded on how microbubbles are generated in 99.5% anhydrous ethanol. A glass containing ethanol was placed in an empty tank, and microbubbles were generated using a nozzle with a flow rate of 420 cc/min. The pressure was approximately 0.27 MPa. In the first half, the solution was a thick white turbidity, but it became thinner in the second half. It seems that a bit of skill is required to control the generation of microbubbles. Since we were using an electromagnetic pump, we tried to mitigate vibrations by using a silicone rubber tube, but it burst during the experiment. The footage was recorded after switching to a urethane tube where the pressure was applied. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Custom 1000mL/min MB Generation Nozzle Features (Made of Teflon)
A Teflon microbubble generation nozzle with a discharge capacity of 1000 mL/min has been completed. - The vacuum level in the nozzle mixing section is very high, reaching 95.5% at 0.3 MPa. It is energy-efficient for low-pressure use. - The self-priming capacity is very high, at 130% of the discharge amount. The 1000 mL/min nozzle has no discontinuity in self-priming capacity. The OKE-MB01FJ and OKE-MB03FJ show discontinuity in self-priming capacity near a water pressure of 0.15 MPa. At 0.11 MPa, the air self-priming capacity exceeds the discharge amount. At 0.15 MPa, the air self-priming capacity is 1.3 L/min. - Microbubbles are generated even in a jacuzzi state. They are very fine microbubbles. - This nozzle has been used in experiments for cleaning with ultra-pure water. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
Contamination removal was achieved with the same effect as ultra-mirror polishing of the wafer.

Cleaning to remove burr contamination from automotive press parts.
We were able to remove contamination with the same effect as during the ultra-polishing of wafers. We received an inquiry regarding contamination removal from pressed punched products. The issue was that the contamination generated during the burr removal process was strongly adhered to the products, and there were some that could not be removed even after passing through the cleaning removal device. Since they mentioned using a neutral detergent, we used a small OK nozzle OKE-MB07FJ (20L/min). The cleaning solution containing the neutral detergent in the 500L tank was initially cloudy, making it difficult to determine the generation of microbubbles. We experimented by varying the air suction volume and selected the optimal suction volume for cleaning, achieving the same effect as during the ultra-polishing of wafers. In this cleaning process, it seems that microbubbles burst due to showering and brushing, allowing for detachment cleaning through their destructive power. The method for generating microbubbles involves using a submersible pump within the 500L tank. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
The loop flow microbubble generation nozzle has been patented!

Patent obtained in May! Loop flow microbubble generation nozzle.
The loop flow microbubble generation nozzle, application number 2008-034846, was granted a patent on May 15, 2012, and the patent registration process was completed on the 21st, resulting in the acquisition of the patent. We considered the need for a "divisional application," but concluded that it was unnecessary, and completed the patent registration process on the 21st. It took four years from the application. No one had created a similar microbubble generation nozzle. Neither patent searches nor internet searches revealed any designs that maximized the characteristics of loop flow. In August of this year, I will present on "Characteristics and Application Examples of Loop Flow Microbubble Generation Nozzles" at a conference of the Japan Multiphase Flow Society at the University of Tokyo, Kashiwa Campus. Air self-priming at 105% of water discharge volume! OKE-MB03FJ self-priming measurement.
The OKE-MB03FJ (6L/min) self-priming pump draws in air at 105% of the water discharge volume. The experiment revealed that there is a water pressure at which the self-priming volume becomes discontinuous. 【Experimental Conditions】 - The water heater was set to 43°C, utilizing tap water pressure. → Pressure was measured at the base of the shower hose. - The self-priming inlet was fully opened using a throttle valve. - A 6mm outer diameter tube was used. - Self-priming volume measuring device: → Horiba Seisakusho Estec Digital Flow Meter SEF-51. 【Results and Discussion】 - The self-priming volume is very high, drawing in 105% of the discharge volume. - At a water pressure of 0.16MPa, the self-priming volume is 6.3L/min. → Exceeding this pressure causes a jump to 0.19MPa, reducing the self-priming volume to 3.4L/min. - There exists a water pressure at which the self-priming volume becomes discontinuous. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
Measurement of self-priming capacity of OKE-MB01FJ (7L/min)

Suction of 80% of the discharge air! OKE-MB01FJ suction measurement.
We investigated the performance of a loop flow microbubble generation nozzle. The self-priming capacity of standard and semi-standard nozzles was measured in increments from 0.00 to 0.01 MPa. The experimental results yielded unexpectedly very interesting findings, revealing the existence of a water pressure at which the self-priming capacity becomes discontinuous. 【Experimental Conditions】 - Water temperature heater: set to 43°C. Using tap water pressure → Pressure measured at the base of the shower hose → The MB generation nozzle was installed at the tip of the shower hose, with nothing attached to the nozzle tip - The self-priming inlet was fully opened with a throttle valve - Used two 6 mm outer diameter tubes - A check valve with a cracking pressure close to 0 was used in between - Self-priming capacity measuring device → Horiba Seiki digital flow meter SEF-51 - Nozzle used: OKE-MB01FJ, discharge capacity of 7L/min (at water pressure of 0.15 MPa) 【Results and Discussion】 - The self-priming capacity was very high, accounting for 80% of the discharge capacity - At a water pressure of 0.15 MPa, the self-priming capacity was 5.6 L/min → Beyond this pressure, it jumped to 0.18 MPa, and the self-priming capacity drastically decreased to 3.6 L/min - There exists a water pressure at which the self-priming capacity becomes discontinuous → In the case of OKE-MB01FJ, this water pressure is 0.15 MPa For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
