ISAI Corporation has developed a high-function version of a carbon dioxide concentration measuring device, the "Indoor Environment Measurement Monitoring Device Miru-kun PRO <WD100-ENV-LCD>", which contributes to infection control and productivity improvement, and will begin sales on January 21, 2022. This product displays the measured values of indoor temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration on a large LCD screen, while visualizing the environmental conditions with three colors of light according to the levels. It notifies users via email or alerts when ventilation is needed. Data is sent to a higher level using LoRa, a representative wireless communication method of LPWA, for visualization and analysis. A compact version model without an LCD <WD100-ENV> will also be released simultaneously. Both models allow for quick startup from installation, enabling measurement, monitoring, and countermeasures to begin in a short period. When combined with an additional contact input/output unit, it is also possible to coordinate and control ventilation systems. Up to 32 child units can be connected to one main unit, and the communication between the measuring unit and the main unit uses LoRa wireless communication, covering areas and obstacles that Wi-Fi or Bluetooth cannot reach. It is also ideal for environmental monitoring in large factories and facilities.
