[Technical Column Update] UV-C Resistant Cables for COVID-19 Measures
Recently, UV-C with a specific wavelength of 254nm has been used for sterilization as a preventive measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus. However, this UV-C is harmful to both objects and the human body, and it can degrade and damage materials, especially plastics. LAPP has responded promptly to this issue and has already tested its products through its own unique testing methods. (Currently, there are no existing testing standards for UV-C testing.) LAPP offers UV-C resistant cables through its ROBUST series. For more details on UV-C, please refer to the related links.
Operationally compatible even at -40℃! It has excellent chemical resistance to various ester-based working fluids.
