Possible miniaturization and thinness Compared to actuators that utilize electromagnetic attraction to generate equivalent displacement and force, it is possible to achieve miniaturization, especially in terms of thickness. 4. Good controllability Since the relationship between voltage and displacement is almost proportional, it is possible to obtain a specified displacement through voltage control. However, due to the presence of hysteresis, the displacement generated at the same applied voltage will not be the same with changes in voltage (rise and fall), so a displacement sensor is necessary when precise displacement generation is required.
