"P-Life" is a groundbreaking additive that leads non-biodegradable plastics, such as polyethylene and polypropylene, to become biodegradable plastics through microbial decomposition. This additive is made from raw materials derived from plant oils (biomass), and since the addition amount is from 1.5%, it enables the production of microbial biodegradable plastic products at a low cost. We also offer a service to test the time frame until the product becomes inconsistent, including how much the variation changes with different addition amounts when companies that purchase the raw materials start manufacturing products. By adding this product, it is possible to convert non-biodegradable plastic materials into biodegradable ones. Additionally, a joint research team from Keio University, Ito En, and P-Life Japan Inc. has conducted research using straws containing this product and identified the decomposition bacteria.
