To confirm the inspection method using measuring tools, a one-way trip of three hours to the customer's site was initiated by Bandai's determination. However, the overseas processing companies that were considered responded that "water tightness testing is not possible." While they were confident in their quality, differences in inspection methods and philosophies became a barrier. Still, we did not give up. Pure copper processing was entrusted to overseas vendors, while water tightness testing was assigned to a reliable domestic partner. Bandai connected both, creating a breakthrough with a hybrid approach of "processing: overseas × inspection: domestic."
