Eco-GEO Method

An environmentally friendly ground improvement method that uses 100% natural material crushed stone. It prevents the collapse of the borehole walls with casing, allowing for stable quality construction.

The "Eco-GEO Method" is an environmentally friendly ground improvement technology developed through joint research between Mie University and Onabe Corporation, which uses only "crushed stone" without the need for cement or steel pipe piles. It can be utilized for ground improvement work for residential and small civil engineering structures. Furthermore, in September 2013, the "Eco-GEO ZERO," which can be constructed without soil disposal, was born. This made it possible to carry out construction in urban areas without disposal sites. It does not require cement plants, generators, or compressors that were necessary for conventional ground improvement work, and it allows for construction using a compact ground improvement machine (8-ton class) equipped with a uniquely developed EG casing (a steel tube with a rubber door) and a backhoe. The EG casing is driven into the ground, and crushed stone is filled and compacted into the space created during the extraction process. Because a compact ground improvement machine (approximately 2.0m wide) is used, construction can be performed even in narrow spaces.
