Here is a case study on measures taken against "tobacco odor" in a large warehouse. The area that was previously a smoking room was dismantled and converted into a warehouse. The interior was filled with a strong tobacco odor that had accumulated over many years. The tar that had adhered to surfaces was removed in advance, and after replacing the tile carpet and other materials, ozone deodorization was performed. A biological deodorization system was already installed as an existing deodorization device, but it was insufficient to eliminate the strong odors being generated. The situation had reached a point where operations would have to be halted, prompting the factory to contact us. We conducted a preliminary consultation and testing, confirming that if the deodorization efficiency did not exceed 90%, odors would disperse into the surrounding residential area. The odors were a mixture of sulfur compounds from the eggs and burnt smells generated during the cooking process in the oven.
