Case Study on "Odor" Management in Large Warehouses: Rubber Smell from Tires
Forced oxidation and decomposition of odors with high-concentration ozone! A case of deodorizing rubber smell from tires in a large warehouse!
We will introduce a case study on measures taken against the "rubber smell of tires" in a large warehouse. In a warehouse that stored 30,000 tires, a strong rubber odor had permeated the space. There were concerns that the rubber smell would adhere to the cardboard boxes of computers that were to be stored next. Therefore, ozone deodorization was implemented. When attempting to reduce the odor solely through ventilation, it would take over six months to achieve a reduction; however, deodorization was accomplished within 15 days, bringing the odor level down to a point where there was no odor adhering to the cardboard. 【Case Study】 ■ Location: Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture ■ Work Area: 1500 m³ ■ Duration of Work: 10 days ■ Odor Level Before Measures: Odor Concentration 100 ■ Odor Level After Measures: Odor Concentration 16 *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
