Since the release of the first generation in 2006 by CUI Devices, the AMT series has built an excellent track record with high reliability and accuracy. It is more robust than optical encoders, resistant to various harsh conditions such as dust, dirt, and oil, and has far superior resistance to vibration and extreme temperatures. Additionally, it does not use LEDs, resulting in a longer lifespan, smaller size, and lower current consumption (6-18mA). It is robust like magnetic encoders, unaffected by magnetic interference or EMC noise, while achieving higher precision and resolution. Moreover, due to its digital nature, users can flexibly change the encoder's resolution. In capacitive encoders, the resolution can be set programmatically, which not only helps optimize the system when designing PID control loops but also allows one model to be used across multiple applications, reducing inventory holding. For BLDC motors, it enables the digital setting of index pulses and alignment, and the diagnostic features included in CUI's GUI software allow users to quickly troubleshoot on-site.

The ANT-35100A is the successor to the ANT-35000A/A1, equipped with an additional H.265 option. This encoder has HDMI or HD-SDI input options and supports resolutions up to 1080P60. H.265 has the advantage of lower bitrate over the network. With input loop in/out, signals can be displayed locally by passing through the encoder. Full support for ONVIF Profile S, G & T enables integration with VMS software such as Milestone/Exac. Additionally, multiple streaming formats are supported, including RTSP, MPEG-TS, RTP, and RTMP over TCP and UDP.
