We have introduced a self-consumption solar power generation system at our Kasugai factory to reduce environmental impact, strengthen business continuity, and lower electricity costs. Additionally, we have adopted our own products for the transformers within the system, enabling stable operation. We will continue to focus on environmental considerations and technological innovation to contribute to a more sustainable society.

National University Corporation Mie University, Hitachi Kokusai Electric Inc., Dexerials Photonics Solutions Inc., KDDI Research, Inc., and Toyo Electric Co., Ltd. successfully conducted a field demonstration on October 27, 2024, transmitting live 4-channel uncompressed 4K video captured at the Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, to the headquarters of a cable television operator located 55 km away via an all-optical wireless transmission system and an optical fiber transmission system. This is the world's first transmission of uncompressed 4K multi-channel video using optical wireless technology in a real field, including existing optical fibers, at a communication speed of 100 Gbps.
