We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of the ultra-high temperature vacuum and atmosphere furnace "NEWTONIAN Pascal-40" at the High Brightness Light Source Research Center, a public interest incorporated foundation. The center conducts experiments aimed at clarifying the composition and structure of the Earth's mantle, and it was necessary to procure a high-temperature furnace to stably sinter polycrystalline specimens of candidate materials.
