Achieve Rockwell testing with a portable hardness tester, measuring from a minimum thickness of 0.08mm, compatible with a wide range of metals from soft to hard.
TKX LIGHT is a portable hardness tester that allows for easy and highly accurate measurement of the hardness of metallic materials. It adopts the principle of the Rockwell hardness test, featuring excellent reproducibility of ±0.4 HRC, ensuring stable hardness measurements. It is ideal for high-precision hardness testing in both field and laboratory settings.
The testing subjects range from non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and bronze to a wide variety of metallic materials and surface treatments, including soft steel, hardened steel, nitrided products, carburized products, and chrome-plated surfaces. Measurement data can be stored up to 3,500 entries, and it supports tolerance settings, statistical data management for maximum, minimum, and average values, as well as external output of measurement values via RS-232. Additionally, the minimum measurement thickness is 0.08mm (for 65 HRC), making it suitable for measuring the hardness of thin plates and surface treatment layers. The compatible scales include Rockwell scales HRA, HRB, HRC, HR15N, HR30T, HR30N, HR45N, as well as Brinell HB5, HB10, HB30, Vickers HV1, and Knoop HK, accommodating a diverse range of hardness evaluations.
