A case where we proposed conducting hardness and material analysis, as well as product inspection, at WTM headquarters!
We would like to introduce a case where our company responded to a customer's concerns with full effort.
In this case, the customer had a product requiring hardness manufactured through overseas procurement from another company, including heat treatment. However, when used in a non-load environment, it broke immediately, prompting them to seek a provider for hardness and material analysis, as well as dimensional measurement.
We conducted inspections using a hardness tester (HM-6561JP), a material analyzer (X-MET8000), and other inspection equipment, which yielded results different from those provided by the manufacturer. Subsequently, we received a production request from the customer and successfully delivered the product.
[Case Overview]
■ Concerns
- The overseas procured (from another company) product broke immediately in a non-load environment.
- Even after inquiring with the processing manufacturer, they insisted that "there is no problem," leaving the issue unresolved.
■ Proposal
- Conducted hardness and material analysis, as well as product inspection at WTM headquarters.
