Heating from drying to sterilization and disinfection is achieved by heating from within the material, realizing high-efficiency heating in a short time.
Microwave, which is dielectric heating, achieves high efficiency and energy savings as a heating process in a wide range of fields including medical, rubber, resin, chemicals, and powders. It is also capable of heating three-dimensional objects, which is difficult with external heating methods such as hot air, steam, heating plates, and electric heaters. Additionally, because it can heat materials from all directions, it enables rapid and uniform heating.
Since it is possible to use microwave heating in combination with hot air, steam, infrared, etc., it can also accommodate systematic heating that utilizes simultaneous heating or heating treatment on preceding and following lines. As for the equipment types, there are batch systems that process relatively large and thick non-heated objects for a longer duration, and continuous systems that continuously process non-heated objects while being transported on a conveyor belt.
