This is a case in which we received an inquiry to resolve the bridging occurring in the hopper section of a dust collector. The customer sent us the equipment drawings and a sample of the material, so we started by providing a layout proposal for the blow disk based on that. We informed them that there were no significant risks observed with the powder sample we reviewed. The person in charge contacted us expressing a desire to see the actual blow disk, so we set it up on a plate that simulated the hopper wall and sent it to them. The customer connected air to it and observed the air injection and vibration of the blow disk, concluding that "this should work." They decided to proceed with the installation. Installed two standard Brodisks and two Brodisk Minis! A case where the clogging was resolved.

We would like to introduce a case where we addressed a blockage at the bottom of an air transport hopper in a cosmetics raw material factory. The flowability of the raw material was not significantly poor, but the small diameter of the hopper discharge section, φ50, seemed to be the main cause of the blockage. To resolve this, we installed two standard blow discs slightly below the center of the hopper and two mini blow discs near the discharge section.
