This is a testing machine for measuring the MFR and MVR of thermoplastic resins (MI meter, MFR tester, melt flow rate tester, melt flow tester).
This is a device for measuring the indices MFR (Melt Mass Flow Rate, g/10 min) and MVR (Melt Volume Flow Rate, cm3/10 min), which represent the flowability of thermoplastic resins during melting. There are two testing methods: Method A (mass measurement method) and Method B (movement distance measurement method).
With a modular design, you can freely add your preferred options such as the flow rate device for Method B measurement (piston movement distance measurement encoder), weight lifting device, cutting device, etc.
By adopting a mechanism that allows for easy removal of the orifice die from the lower part of the furnace body, the workability and safety during cleaning have been improved. The load of residual resin extrusion has also been reduced.
Testing conditions (preheating time, testing temperature, testing load, etc.) can be registered via a liquid crystal touch panel.
Test results can be output to a computer* (a dedicated software option is required).
Measurement data can be output in real-time to the dedicated software*. Trend graphs can be displayed, allowing for a visual understanding of the trends in MVR/MFR measurement values. (Optional, Method B only)
An automatic cutting device (with a sliding mechanism) can be used in conjunction with a flow prevention clamp.
