Standard fine particles

It covers a particle size range from 0.10μm to 200μm, with a rich variety of standard particle size specifications.

The standard particles for particle size are NIST traceable polystyrene microparticles with a highly uniform particle size. They are provided as a suspension with a solid content of 1.0% in a 10 mL titration bottle. Particles smaller than 1μm are measured by a centrifugal disk photometer (CPS), while particles larger than 1μm are measured by an electrical sensing zone (ESZ) method, calibrated with NIST traceable standard particles. Products in this series cover a particle size range from 0.10μm to 200μm and can accommodate various applications with a rich selection of size specifications.

Magnetic acidified silica nanoparticles

Magnetic silicon oxide nanoparticles have a core-shell structure, with a superparamagnetic iron oxide core inside and a silicon oxide shell covering the outside.

Magnetic silica microparticles are all submicron in size, and the hydrophilicity of the silica surface ensures good dispersion of the microparticles in water. They are typically used for the extraction and purification of nucleic acids. The surface of the unmodified products has silica hydroxyl groups, allowing for the extraction of DNA and RNA from blood, cell culture media, animal and plant tissues, and forensic samples. Carboxyl group-modified products are suitable for applications such as the purification of PCR products and the selection of NGS fragments. Magnetic silica products modified with other functional groups (such as thiol groups, epoxy groups, etc.) are also available for custom orders.

Magnetic chitosan microparticles

Magnetic chitosan microparticles are created by dispersing magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles of about 10 nm in size into chitosan microparticles, with a chitosan content of 4.0%.

The interior of chitosan microparticles has a cross-linked structure, and the particle size distribution is broad, ranging from 40 to 80 μm. On the surface of the magnetic chitosan microparticles, Protein A or Ni-NTA affinity ligands are bound, and they are used in scenarios such as small-scale antibody/protein purification, immunoprecipitation, and pull-down experiments. Other functional groups and unmodified magnetic chitosan microparticles can also be offered as custom products.
