Polymer microparticles for drilling applications

The polymer microparticle "Techpolymer" has the characteristic of thermal decomposition and can be used as a pore-forming material.

The polymer microparticle "Tech Polymer" has the characteristic of thermal decomposition and can be used as a pore-forming material. It is primarily mixed with ceramic powders or metal powders, and during firing, the particles burn away, creating spherical pores. Additionally, a significant feature of "Tech Polymer" is that it produces very little residue after decomposition. 【Features】 ■ Particle Size, Particle Size Distribution, and Shape We offer a wide range of particle sizes from submicron to micron. It is also possible to achieve a sharp particle size distribution, contributing to uniform pore formation. In addition to the main spherical microparticles, we also have irregularly shaped particles such as biconvex lens-shaped and hemispherical particles, making it suitable for forming special pores. ■ Low Residue Tech Polymer has minimal residue after decomposition. ■ Environmental Consideration By using hollow microparticles and low-temperature thermal decomposition microparticles, we can propose products that contribute to energy reduction, and by using biomass particles, we can help reduce carbon emissions, thus promoting environmental consideration.

Polymer microparticles for the medical field

"Tech Polymer," a polymer microparticle that can be used for applications such as dental materials, bone cement, and carriers.

"Tech Polymer" is a polymer microparticle based on acrylic, styrene, and other materials. With its characteristic customizability, we are advancing the development of microparticles that can be used in the medical and health fields. 【Application Examples】 ■ Dental Materials It can be used as materials for base materials, hard resin teeth, cement, and more. By customizing the molecular weight and particle size, solubility and viscosity can be adjusted. ■ Bone Cement It is being considered as a material used in bone cement (fixative) that adheres artificial joints. Similar to dental materials, customization of particle size and molecular weight is possible. 【Porous Type Application Examples】 ■ Carrier Utilizing technologies such as controlling particle shape and adding functional groups to particle surfaces, we propose microparticles that can be considered as materials for carrying drug substances like freshness preservers, antiviral agents, and excipients. 【Other Application Examples】 ■ Fluid Visualization Agent By mixing "Tech Polymer" with a liquid and flowing it, it can be used as a tracer to visualize the movement of the liquid. *For detailed specifications, please download the PDF. Feel free to consult or contact us.

Small Room of Nanomaterials: Towards Uniform Arrangement of Nanoparticles

We will introduce a case study that researched how the mechanisms differ depending on particle size!

When a colloidal dispersion is dried, it often forms a ring-shaped pattern (commonly known as a "coffee ring"). What we are introducing this time is a case study that investigates how the mechanism differs based on particle size. In the droplet, particles are convecting, and larger particles have stronger van der Waals forces, making them more likely to aggregate. This moderate aggregation force prevents the particles from concentrating at the edges when the droplet shrinks, making it less likely for a coffee ring to form. *For more details about the case study, please refer to the related links. Feel free to contact us for further information.*
