Since its establishment in 1974, Yamane Construction Co., Ltd. in Hiroshima Prefecture has contributed to the local community through marine civil engineering using its own marine cranes. We would like to introduce a case where the heat treatment oil "High Temp Oil G" was adopted by an automobile manufacturer. The manufacturer adopted this product, which is a high cooling oil, to reduce CO2 emissions in the heat treatment process. By switching from conventional hot oil, the effective hardened layer depth increased, allowing for a 30% reduction in carburizing time while still achieving the same effective hardened layer depth.
