We would like to introduce Tokyo Stainless Polishing Industry Co., Ltd.'s original polishing technology, EGR (Electrolytic Grinding Reducing). EGR is an original polishing technology that combines grinding with abrasive wheels and neutral salt electrolytic polishing. [PR Points] ★ With EGR, hot-rolled materials are finished to a surface roughness equivalent to cold-rolled material 2B. Furthermore, the surface is polished even smoother than cold-rolled material 2B, significantly reducing pinholes. ★ By utilizing EGR as a base polishing method, the quality of subsequent diverse polishing finishes is greatly improved. <Conventional Challenges> ★ In manufacturing using pure titanium and hot-rolled materials, the removal of severe substrate (residual surface texture) and high-quality finishing are required. ★ Materials that meet cold-rolled standards are necessary, but the only available specification is pure titanium hot-rolled materials. At Tokyo Stainless Polishing Industry Co., Ltd., we address the challenges related to pure titanium and hot-rolled materials with our original polishing technology "EGR" for substrate polishing. <Tokyo's Solutions> ☆ We easily achieve grinding of approximately 100 microns (the grinding amount will be adjusted based on the surface condition of the base material), realizing surface roughness equivalent to cold-rolled materials regardless of the state of the material!
